Sherlock Pub is a traditional English pub in The Hague: warm, relaxed, atmospheric, and easy to settle into. It is the kind of place where you can come in for a pint, stay for food, watch a match, join a quiz, or spend an evening with friends.

A new chapter
Sherlock Pub reopened on 24 January 2026 with a clear goal: to bring back the feeling of a cosy English local in The Hague, with better food, better events, and a warmer, more unified pub identity.
The pub is not trying to be a fine-dining restaurant or a modern cocktail bar. It is a pub: familiar, informal, warm, and made for people who want a proper pint, a good plate of food, and a comfortable place to spend time.
